是一个很好的悬疑故事，人物刻画尤其精彩细腻，作者对于凶手意外性的设计颇为用心，归根结底这是一部冷硬派侦探从谎言中提取真相的破案小说而不是着重于诡计和逻辑纯粹的本格推理。虽然连篇累牍的场景描写常常让我失去耐心地跳过，JK Rowling的侦探处女秀仍然是相当愉快的阅读体验，Strike and Robin这对组合的下一个adventure也很让人期待。书名的寓意深刻，读完才懂。
