以现在的眼光看从设定到结局并无过人之处。

啃了一波5000字的原版，可能是这么多年看过最好的科幻短篇，不再是人类终将胜利，锤烂人类中心主义的同时，在那个存在主义意味浓郁的结局里，还是肯定了人的尊严、人的自由意志，即便无声，也能狂啸。

下班路上一口气读完，这是读过的最骇人的末日描写，书中的AM就是天网的文学原型了，不知道Harlan Ellison的小说是不是都是这种基调，难怪国内从来没有看到过他的小说译本。
