这套书的确是好书，但是对于之前对阿拉伯历史没什么了解的我来说，实在是很难读。每个人的人名字都好长，而且常常出现之前没有介绍过的人物，搞得我经常晕头涨脑。总之费了九牛二虎之力还是没有读完，因为自己的原因失去了兴趣，所以暂时搁置了，等个人对中东历史有了更多感性...

很早就想读这本书，近期逛书店刚好看到马坚的译本，立即买下。刚读了上册，觉得是值得推荐的译本。马坚的翻译很严谨，对于原书中的诸多错误，也一一指出。对于想了解阿拉伯历史的朋友，这本书是很不错的入门读物。

阿拉伯之历史书大都从穆罕穆德说起，终于阿拔斯王朝。但此书却不同，从公元前开始记述，专门有数章介绍伊斯兰教之前的阿拉伯社会，对于我们了解伊斯兰教兴起的社会历史渊源较有帮助。而且，该书以较多的篇幅记述了此外阿拔斯王朝之后的那段历史，对十字军那段历史也专辟章...

本书主要讲述了阿拉伯人从早期文明时代开始到被奥斯曼人所征服为止的历史。本书共六个部分，前五部分讲这段历史，后一部分是讲述奥斯曼土耳其人征服阿拉伯后，对其的影响，时间到1970结束。 一、讲述伊斯兰教以前的时代。主线是阿拉比亚地区及阿拉比亚人，北部是游牧民族贝杜因...
