比起水滸傳苦大仇深，這算是個大傢嗨皮喝酒吃肉偶爾挑戲Sheriff的故事瞭吧，更適閤兒童閱讀。最動情處在最後一章英雄末路，眾人迴到Greenwood，總覺得那麼失落，以前是衊視權貴那麼恣意，現在是受人排擠求一處安身。Robin的死仿佛也是黴運滾著雪球，色調越來越陰沉，慢慢推著走嚮死亡，心裏堵得很。
