杠杆收购如何产生，如何在公司资产结构和治理上给公司和所有者带来价值，是这本书的亮点。作者作为专长公司金融领域并撰写case study的HBS教授，对KKR一些成功或失败案例的分析，是相对其他资料不可多得之处。比故事性为主「门口的野蛮人」在专业上更驾轻就熟。
