具体描述
《经典数学丛书》（Classics in Mathematics）是一套专门收入Springer以前出版现已成为很受欢迎的经典图书的系列丛书，旨在不断满足新一代年轻学生和研究人员的需要。本书初版于1975年, 2002年Springer将此书重印并编入该丛书。本书是根据作者在曼彻斯特大学和康耐尔大学的代数拓扑讲义编写而成，但内容比一年级研究生用的代数拓扑教材深。
