侦探小说因为他严谨的推理而占有小说界的一席之地，然而我觉得对于人性的理解高于对证据的分析，读懂了阿加莎，也就是读懂了人性的罪恶。

2006.6.29讀完不是big fan of short stories. 總覺得篇幅太短不利於develop characters. 如飢似渴地看著阿加莎，正是因為生活如此貧瘠。這個裏麵不少故事已經看過多次。重看的時候覺得這個短篇係列的情節還算比較strong的。and yet as always, i hate miss marple. 還差一篇沒看"The Dressmaker's Doll."

雖說是馬普爾小姐探案短篇集,但是有兩篇馬普爾並沒有登場,這兩篇還都有些靈異色彩,和探案是沾不上邊的。其他幾篇總體而言還行，隻是最後一篇殺人手法似不太閤常理，且過於復雜。
