全城哄抢《纽约客》那部分还真是印象深刻。作者写，卡波特频繁地讲述那六年的痛苦经历，以至于它们像华盛顿砍樱桃树的故事一样，成为国家知识的一部分了。目前还没读到冷血后他在写作上一蹶不振的迹象。。。
