Severin finds his ideal of voluptuous cruelty in the merciless Wanda von Dunajew.

评分阅读的过程非常难受，不是因为受虐本身，而是未明确表达出的对于女性的物化和厌恶。我看到的是Severin将自己定位成殉道者，而他所想殉的道正是由他所定义的，Wanda和她的鞭子裘皮，都只是Severin用来满足愿望的工具而已。他爱的是因卑微而崇高的自己，不是Wanda。
