從誠品隨手買的小故事，非常喜歡。一個悲傷，孤獨又苦澀的藍色故事。很喜歡作者所描述的那種感覺，有點沉迷其中。

感覺福樓拜寫人和事永遠是客觀描述，創作主體和對象主體永遠保持著審美距離，如果說在《包法利夫人》裏他將自己僅有的幾分浪漫色彩給瞭艾瑪，那麼在這本書裏，他就將現實的悲慘命運賦予瞭Félicité，然後通過冷靜的口吻敘述她的人。但是，愚以為，a simple heart是個溫暖的故事，在女僕和夫人突破階級的芥蒂擁抱在一起痛苦的時候，我真心敬佩福樓拜憑藉現實主義的藝術，卻超越瞭浪漫主義的自我。

據說這是為瞭懷念他母親的，雖然福老不肯在文字裏摻雜一點感情，字裏行間還是會讀齣溫情脈脈。福老寫包法利夫人時花兩個月寫十三頁，說寫得"as perfect as I can make them"，還說"As writers.. one ought to know everything.. but we know nothing.. "。纔華橫溢卻焚膏繼晷，學富五車卻虛懷若榖，這就是境界吧。
