评分比起《灿烂涅槃》，更推荐这本bio。灿烂把kurt刻画成了一个全能的光芒万丈的摇滚巨星，而本书，从k儿时埋下的阴影，到青年时所遭遇，到感情失意、滥用药物、胃病、名利场斗争，全方位详细解读透析了这样一个敏感脆弱又对人类充满爱与同情的人。没什么，凡人而已，过目不忘而已，总是看到自己而已。我会铭记你，第八、九、十个年头了。
评分在他面前，灿烂涅槃算个鸡巴。 2018/4/30 上次读是7年前，那时候的我还在听核，屁都不懂，也没经历过生死离别。这次读，发现很多之前读不懂的东西都看懂了，从Sub Pop到Dylan Carson到Melvins到与Courtney的爱情以及Kurt的自杀书，很多东西都能感同身受，总觉得有股不知名的力量在引导着我，因为我也没有因为这本书去专门了解这些相关的知识，而是这七年里各种机缘巧合（因为听泥浆所以开始关注the Melvins，然后在Psycho 看过the Melvins和Earth，去西雅图参观过Sub Pop总部）才了解到的
