The performance of software systems is dramatically affected by how well software designers understand the basic hardware technologies at work in a system. Similarly, hardware designers must understand the far reaching effects their design decisions have on software applications. 評分 評分 評分大名鼎鼎的H&R的姊妹篇P&H。 作者从ISA一直讲到CPU，到cache和TLB，一气呵成，没有停顿。 只是有些指令和寄存器结构，得看了后面的附录，才能理解，比如协处理器0。 可以对照着csapp一起看。一本是x86（更准确说是y86），一本是mips。
評分这么好的一本书，国内许多大学却不用，尤其是清华大学，为了自己的面子，非要用自己老师写的书，写的差，学生读不懂，误人子弟！ 赞~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~！
