与understanding poetry相比，我觉得稍逊一筹，但是不能否认它对阅读小说的价值。书中选取的小说都蛮好的，Eudora Welty的那片How I Write 不错。

这本书是一位朋友给我的礼物，为了给我来北京送行，也为了帮我更好的理解如何讲故事。书很厚，容易让人望而却步，但内容很不错，收入的小说都不长，却广泛有趣。花了接近一个月的时间，每天读一点，才读完。其中有些篇章对照着中文和英文一起读，但慢慢发现其实直接读英文会比...  

这本书是后浪出的Understanding fiction的中英对照本，一直想读的一本书，今天刚收到，就只读了这一篇，发现了许多错误，真的可以用许多来形容。拿证据说话： （当然也可能是我理解错了，非常非常欢迎批评指正或者讨论） （这本书是中英对照的编排，这里的错误大多是指翻译方面...
