Stanley Yelnats is under a curse. A curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and has since followed generations of Yelnats. Now Stanley has been unjustly sent to a boys' detention center, Camp Green Lake, where the warden makes the boys "build character" by spending all day, every day, digging holes: five feet wide and five feet deep. It doesn't take long for Stanley to realize there's more than character improvement going on at Camp Green Lake. The boys are digging holes because the warden is looking for something. 读完了第二本英文原著，比无人生还读起来轻松太多，这本书的中文版是我人生中读完的第一本小说，还在读小学的我第一次发现原来小说读起来那么有趣，如今重新回味一番依然乐趣丛生，宿命的轮回，善良与邪恶的较量，自我的救赎与寻回，这些被两个孩子的友谊串联起来，then make the amazing happened. Great story!

评分高一必读书目。印象不深了，不好不坏的一本书吧。叙事结构很有趣。主旨不太记得了，好像有点设计但并没特别惊艳。以及这版封面远远更好看。
