从四本书的布局来看最后一战的安排确实略显突兀和生硬，但单从一个短篇来看确实是神妙之作

记得初中读福尔摩斯译本时候多么激动，反复读，尤其喜欢系列中的几个长篇。再读原版，倒是少了惊奇，多了一份对英系作家的窥探，简洁易懂，读来很顺。福是个讲道理的天才奇葩，而华生？一如既往没什么存在的必要，功能是作家选择了这种旁述写作方式的替身。

The debut of Sherlock's brother really shocked me, since I have always thought he was an orphan. The series of stories are less attractive compared with previous ones. I presumed that the author can not stand the man he created, so the book ended in a sudden.
