没有异常华丽的语言，却紧扣人心弦，谁是受害者，谁又在操纵人生？
评分这本John Grisham的新作应该是他的legal thriller系列里写得最差的一本，我前几个月去旅行的路上看了一大半，前几天才勉强把最后早已猜到的结尾草草扫了一遍，联邦法官被谋杀的案子本来可以写得更精彩更紧张更twisted，但JG的处理手法实在是面谱化得令人发指，FBI和警方就都是坏人，而且还是弱智型的坏人，而锒铛入狱的，因为穷、因为社会不公、因为体制性压迫（whatever that means）所以都是无辜的，都不用为自己的行为负责，这简直是把“越穷越光荣”的liberal逻辑推至极致，而且，看完整本书的读者可以细心留意一下，书里所有好的值得同情的都是黑人，然后就剩下了一堆又蠢又邪恶的被善良主角们耍得团团转的白人，还有比这更面谱更刻意符合自己的意识形态的无趣故事麽？？？
