的正式英語，同時也為他們提供大量的真實性英語，使他們對異國他鄉的英語不會感到陌生。

本書分學生用書和教師用書兩部分。學生用書主要是練習，同時配有詞匯錶、插圖及少量補充練習。教

師用書含錄音原文、練習答案及原文譯文三部分。

這本書題材廣泛，知識性強，實用麵廣，訓練技能全麵，練習形式多樣，語言自然、生動、活潑，適

閤中等以上水平的讀者，並可做聽力課教材。

此書對國外的TOEFL、IELTS考試及國內的PETS（PublicEnglishTestSystem）考試，即全國公共英

語等級考試，都極有幫助。PETS即原全國外語水平考試WSK・英語水平考試EPT。

本書的練習有多項選擇（MultipleChoice）、正誤判斷TrueorFa1se）以及簡短迴答問題等形式，

而這些練習形式正是PETS、IELTS及TOEFL聽力考試的試題形式。對於PETS考試來說，此書適閤於3―5

級的考生。

本書作者是北京語言文化大學（原北京語言學院）齣國人員外語培訓部英語教研究室的老師，多年從

事英語聽力教學，經驗豐富，熟悉PETS、TOEFL及IELTS等考試。
