王尔德的作品总是带有鲜明的个人印记，他的语言总是精巧，繁复，讽刺。人物的设置总是有那么一个玩世不恭的富家子，一个相对纯洁正直的富家子的最好的哥们儿，纯情少女之类的。个人觉得不足之处是对主角之一Mrs Cheveley 之后的去向结局交代不明，Lord Goring 和 Mable的感情发展有点略显唐突。
