Once upon a time, in small-town India, there lived two intelligent boys.
One wanted to use his intelligence to make money.
One wanted to use his intelligence to create a revolution.
The problem was, they both loved the same girl.
Welcome to Revolution 2020. A story about childhood friends Gopal, Raghav and Aarti who struggle to find success and love in Varanasi. However, it isn’t easy to achieve this in an unfair society that rewards the corrupt. As Gopal gives in to the system, and Raghav fights it, who will win?
著者簡介
Chetan Bhagat is the author of five blockbuster novels – Five Point Someone (2004), One Night @ the Call Center (2005), The 3 Mistakes of my life (2008), 2 States (2009) and Revolution 2020 (2011).
Chetan’s books have remained bestsellers since their release, and have been adapted into major Bollywood films. 评分天下烏鴉一般黑，看這部紮入印度腐敗製度的小說莫若閱讀中國赤裸裸的切身境況。在體製麵前，是同流閤汙讓夢想實現，還是潔身自好使理想覆滅，不同的取捨自然有不同的遭遇。CB的小說依然能將嚴肅的話題揉入輕巧的故事體格裏，盡管暢銷書的性質容易讓人忽略他的真切意圖，但是一旦細究，種種憂患意識還是令人遭到當頭棒喝，不免設身處地，思索現狀。同時，CB總有一種博大的胸懷，不輕易貼標簽，不隨意說鬍話，在促狹而駁雜的矛盾文化中，孜孜不倦地尋求一種海納百川的自由境地。隻願當真有一場革命席捲，吾輩從此為自己是國人而真正驕傲。For my 20120211 to 20120507~
